The registered trustees of Sign language Inclusive for Development (SLID) is a non-profit making organization with a full Board of trustees. It is duly incorporated under the trustees Incorporation Act (CAP. 5:03) of Malawi.
The organization was founded on 15th April, 2019 by a few deaf individuals who were the first deaf sign language trainers trained to train Deaf individuals and sign language interpreters across Malawi with the common goal of bridging communication Gap between the deaf and hearing community, thereby supporting inclusivity through sign language.

Sign language inclusive for development has a professional course of sign language that is offered across Malawi. Currently we are in these districts as follows; Blantyre, Lilongwe, Zomba, Mulanje, Mchinji, Chikwawa, Dowa and Kasungu.
